ABOUT Maia:
My name is Maia and I have not been feeling very well lately. I am tired all the time, but I am also over 15 years old. My Daddy's mom found me in the hall of her apartments when I was just a tiny kitty. When Daddy came home from college, I went back with him when he went off to be a pet doctor and I have lived with him ever since. He adopted my brother, Herm, when he was a sick litle kitten, but he has grown into the sweetest little brother anyone could ask for! That's my Daddy! Now I have a step brother and sister, too. They are pretty nice to me. The puppy is so energeic, but I know she doesn't realize I don't feel well and just wants to play. And as for Mr. Rogers, He thinks he has me fooled, but I know he loves me.
Daddy says something about my 'levels' not being good and I get fluids every night. I don't like it, but I know I feel better after it's done and it is special time with Daddy. I'm not too hungry anymore (when Mommy first met me, her nickname for me was 'Chubbs') so i get special treats if the family thinks I'll eat them.. my favorite is yogurt -Strawberry is the best! I''ve just been enjoying my days cuddled-up on the softest blanket in the house and taking a ton of naps. I'm still a pretty happy kitty, though. I know my parents will watch me and realize when I'm just not happy anymore. It will probably be sooner than later, but until then I'm glad I could be here to make some new friends with my siblings!

Rest in Peach, beautiful Maia.
Im so sorry for your loss, I just saw your post in the dog park, condolences and prayers for strength during this hard time xoxo
Beautiful!
Oh my Maia! I just heard about your trip to Rainbow Bridge! I'm sure gonna miss stopping by to check in on ya! My heartfelt sympathy goes out to your family from my family. Your family gave you a beautiful 15 years on this earth. We are no strangers to this type of loss. My mom lost her 20 year old tortie girl, Echo, in 2009 and still tears up over that loss. This is when i came in to the picture and having me around has helped my mom a lot! Time somewhat heals, but it does take its own time. The memories will live on in our minds forever! Rest in peace dear sweet Maia.
