ABOUT Taco:
I was once alone. As a pup something happened and I was found in a lady's yard. She took me in and for the first few years of my life I was very happy and spoiled. My owner loved a lot. She would dress me up in outfits and taught me how to kiss on command. My life changed when my owner had a baby. Suddenly I found myself getting less attention. I tried to tell her how I felt in the only way I knew how. I began using the toilet indoors to get her attention. I didn't know that was the reason but she began giving me almost no attention. She got a large puppy (See roomate Hooch) and threw out all my stuff, including my dog bowls and in their place was larger bowls that I couldn't eat out of. This new puppy made me really mad so one day when my owner was sleeping I peed on her. Well that worked out badly because she decided that she didn't want me anymore. At the time, a lady had been baby sitter for her and my owner asked her if she wanted me. A long time ago she would have said no because she didn't like Chihuahua's but I had gone to her house to be dog sat by her and her family when my owner was on vacation for the last couple of years so the family got to know me really well. I was never any trouble and a got along okay with their current dog, a toy poodle called CeJaye. He didn't really like me but we got along all right. So when it was decided by my owner that it was either the family take me or I go to a shelter everyone in the family agreed I couldn't go to the shelter. I then became the dog of the baby sitter's grand daughter. I love everyone in my family. My owner's dad is my favorite. I love to sleep on his lap while he watches TV. I don't play much and I don't really like hard treats. I prefer soft but after persuasion I will eat a hard one. The photos of me eating a hard treat only happened once and lasted about five minutes. Then I went and abandoned the treat for regular dog food. I never went back and never ate another. Anyway let's get back to my bio. Not long after arriving I learned there was a rabbit also living at my new home. Her name was Oreo and I was curious about her so I went and sniffed her. That day I learned that rabbits could be dangerous and ever since they have made me a bit nervous although I am slowly getting past that with Chibi. He's okay. Kojikaki though really scares me. Anyway at the time of arriving at my new home I was four years old. CeJaye was seven. For a while CeJaye wouldn't let me do anything and avoided the girl who was now my owner and responsible for my being in his house. He really guarded his food but I always managed to find a way to get some. That October Oreo died and I only had to worry about CeJaye but then when I was six CeJaye got really bad cataracts and I took advantage of it. He couldn't see me very well so I would just run past him or under him to get around. This October (10/2011) CeJaye died and I miss him but I am also enjoying being the only dog. Currently my owner is working on several stories with me in them. In my first one; Black Cat and Chihuahua I am a wacky little Chihuahua who is sidekick to a black cat called Lucky. The reason I am the sidekick is that my owner really wrote it after the barn cat she knew and loved, Lucky died. I was only a dog she knew at the time. The next one I was put in is a comic book called Spider and Jackal. This is about my life with CeJaye. The bunnies were the most recent additions to it. After that she is using me in a story called A Chihuahua's Tale which is about a dog that is born in a shelter and ends up being fostered by a cat. The foster who takes the animals in unintentionally causes problems for the little dog when she accidentally teaches him bad behaviors that prevent him from getting adopted. Here I was only really used as a model for the drawing and some of my personality traits are in it. Another which I am slightly in is called Rescue Farm where my personality is used to create a very strange dog with a crosseyed stare. Actually when I beg I do get crosseyed. I have modeled a bit for other characters in her stories but these are the ones I have the biggest roles in. Recently I have heard talk about getting another toy poodle. I'm not sure how I feel about that and I think only my owner wants another right now. My mom's site for her books, www.mortalrealmwitch.com, and facebook page, A&M Moonlight Creations, will be up soon. I will let you know when. I am also going to be in a book called: My Pets and Their Lives which is about every pet my mom has ever owned.
