JAN 27, 2012 : mummys application was approved to be a volunteer at the golf coast humane society, she is so excited that she is doing the wiggle..... she said she really hopes nothing gets in the way of her being able to do this like work for example.

JAN 19, 2012 : daddy took mummy to Ocala Florida for her booday which is tomorrow, they will be back home tonight.. i wish they took me too, but they said i couldnt go because they were going into alot of places and didnt want to leave me in the car.

Jan 10,2012 : Pittie is out of that aweful shelter in Ft Worth Texas and on his way to the rescue in Saint Martinville, Louisiana where Robin will nurse him back to health and get him ready for foster or adoption..Snarr - Special Needs Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation is the best. Thank God for them or Pittie would not still be with us.

JAN 7,2012 : did you know, if you open your door to foster an animal until it finds a FURever home, you can write all expenses off as a tax deduction at the end of the year? so please whoever has the space and can help save an animals life, know all expenses will be returned... heres the proof from an article i read : In a landmark tax court case, Jan Van Dusen emerged victorious against the IRS. Van Dusen claimed many tax deductions on her 2004 tax return, for all the expenditures she'd put out for the 70 (yes, you read that correctly) stray and feral cats she had fostered, as part of her volunteer work with Fix Our Ferals, a non-profit California charity.

Van Dusen claimed over $12,000 related to cat food, vet bills, garbage bags, and other items for her care of the cats. In 2009, a judge finally ruled that because her expenses were used toward a charitable organization, she was legally allowed to claim them. In fact, 90 percent of her vet bills, cleaning supplies, and food was tax deductible.
