ABOUT Wolfie:
Wolfie was adopted from the South Animal Care and Adoption Center in Melbourne, FL back in 1998 after the death of my first cat, a Russian Blue mix named Blue. I swore I would not get another grey cat but the moment I saw him I knew I had to pick him up. He was so chill but aware and curious and didn't mind hanging out in my arms. I was twelve at the time and my Mom had final say. Because of all his fur (he was a fluff ball as a kitten) his card was marked female and it was only when we brought him to the counter that the Employee informed us the card was wrong and my Mom almost wouldn't allow me to adopt him since we already had a King Louis who was the alpha (and only) male, deaf, and intimidated by even rottweilers and pythons!

Thanks to the employee's extensive knowledge about cat dynamics and my hard won pouty face my Mom agreed and we took him home that day. It was on the ride home I couldn't decide what to name him, Lynx was my first choice because of his furry ears but his paws were large enough to belong to a puppy. Looking at his grey fur and ashen nose (and my obsession with the piano) I dubbed him Wolfgang and he's been Wolfie ever since. :D

Wolfie is leash trained in addition to the litter box. He knows the commands "this way"-my way of directing him when he's on the leash to go the way I want to go... "MINE"- alternative to "no" so he'll leave things alone which he doesn't need to play with..."Lay Down"- he wont sit on command but he'll lay down, I'm not sure why one distinction is easier to understand than the other..."Come Here"-usually accompanied by a snap of my fingers to call him from another room. This doesn't work if he is sleeping usually. lol
