Hello, my name is Maggie. I am an elderly lady, but very young at heart. I have a sister, Ciara, who is very young and needs a lot of guidance. She is always getting into trouble and although I try to cover up and take the blame, our mom knows the truth. We don't know anything about my background because my mom found me when I was just a pup (3 to 5 months old) under a MAC/ATM machine. She tells me it was raining really hard and that I was all curled up in a ball, shaking. I looked up at her with these really big eyes (which I still have) that showed how scared I was. It took her some time to gain my confidence, but she didn't give up, and I sniffed her and moved close to her. She took me to her car, dryed me off and wrapped me in a blanket. Mom brought me home, and introduced me to my (dearly departed - last photo) sister/best friend, Molly, who mom said was her "ANGEL". Molly took me under her wing and patiently taught me all the right things, just like I'm trying REALLY, REALLY hard to teach Ciara. I have been with mom for a long time and have a great life and a lot of love. Mom calls me "Princess" Maggie (because I went from rags to riches). I could not have been any luckier.

Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! There's so much to do! So little time! I'm so excited! Daddy will need to put in a larger doggie door from the laundry room to the garage. The garage to outside is big enough. Hmmmm, he'll need to put it an elevator under the stairs so you can get upstairs night night time. Mommie carried Poot up every night but you're a little bigger, no offense. Next he needs to build some steps so you can get into bed with all of us. Don't forget to pack your fav blankie. I eat orijen food, is that good for you? Oh wow, this is going to be a great adventure!! Wait 'till Cakes hears! She'll be so jealous!

That was funny. Mom said YOU come and stay with US. You're right, she couldn't live without me. Ciara and me together, oiy! But she said you might teach me some manners. Tell your mom it's just temporary. She'll bring you back in a month or two. My birthday is the end of next month. It's the big one. You have to come and help me celebrate! Love you!
OMD! I wrote a novel down there. Yikes! Thank you for the Rainbow Fields info. Sent a note off to see if I could send a pic of Pooter in with a little note about him. I don't really want to set up a page for him. But I would love to go to the field and see him there. I hope they will let me. (yes, it was a bacterial infection. A wash, a topical to put inside and an antibiotic for gods sake!) I better quit having to go to the doctor or mom's going to trade me in for a newer model! BOL!!
Hiya Magpie!! How are you? We went to Lake of the Arbuckles last week. Left Thursday night came back Monday night. Had fun but it was SO FLIPPING HOT!! Everybody stayed in their campers, not a whole lot of visiting going on. A quick walk down to the swim beach then a quick walk back to the camper. We're having the MOST beautiful weather these last few days in Oklahoma!! Did you have a cool front move in? We haven't had to run the a/c since it moved in. Windows open...fresh air. Ahhhhh! So odd for August! Went to the vet Tuesday, I HAVE, excuse me HAD, FLEAS!!! Mom couldn't figure out the signs I was giving her! Booty scooting! She took in my poop, pardon my french hehehehe, to have it checked for worms, nope not that, took me in 4 hrs later to check my anal glands. Whoa, not a nice experience for a lady. Nothing going on here, move along folks. Didn't actually see a flea, but he saw "dirt" and said that was the culprit. Yikes!! Had blood drawn to check for heart worms, so I can start on that. Sooooo $104 later, I'm on flea and heart worm meds. And he didn't even charge for an office visit! I guess I'm going to be high maintenance. (My ear is twitching, mom thinks I might have an ear infection) Oh Lord!! Well, how about that Ciara??!! She's doing great!! I'm voting for her every day!! OK, talked your ear off, so I'll be going now. Love ya girly squirly!!
