ABOUT Katie:
I was a stray who was rescued from the shelter when I was 9 months old. I was all alone and scared at the end of the row of cages and no one could really see me. When my new family came in looking for a dog I knew they were the ones for me. I managed to let out a soft whimper that my mom heard and she walked down to find me. I was so happy when they brought me home!
Some of my favorite things are chasing squirrels and bunnies, climbing trees (I can jump really high), playing fetch, and getting wet by the hose. One day a few weeks ago when my mom was doing the dishes I was sitting on the deck by the window and she squirted me with the hose from the kitchen sink. It was so awesome! Now when I'm outside and I hear her at the sink I sit outside the window and bark. I can never get enough!
My roommate is Chirpie, another stray like me. My family calls us "Snoopy and Woodstock". He likes to keep me company by sitting on top of my crate when I'm in there (usually drying off from the hose). Sometimes if the door is open he will come in the crate and lay with me. He doesn't understand that I go in there to be left alone! He kinda thinks he's a dog, too. He barks like me and likes to eat my kibble. Sometimes when he's flying by I'll jump up and try to nip at his wings. Mom worries I'm going to eat him one day, but I'm just being playful (I would have done it by now if I really wanted to!)

Hiya Katie...Im soooooo glad that you are here for George. I was hoping that you'd notice her back on the site again. Vicki said she'd try to get ahold of your mom for me. I think you were an important part of her time spent on cuteness before. I'm glad you're back in touch. You're welcome for the picture...just wanted to include all of our friends. BTW: Shivers, the male Bichon at our house is the donor....BooBoo is the REAL dad...can't you telll!!! Glad to see your pretty face again...Joy!
Hi Katie! It's been a LONG time since my mommy has logged onto this site. A lot has changed. Mommy had to put me to sleep 12/13/09. :( I'm writing this to you from heaven. My grandma (my mommy's mom) died from her breast cancer a couple of months ago (12/22/10). :( She did end up having her mastectomy but unfortunately the cancer already spread to her lymph nodes. Grandma had a rough life and didn't really have the will to live or even fight to live, so she chose not to treat her cancer (chemo, radiation, etc). Within several months, mom had to put grandma on hospice care because the cancer had spread all over and she was in soooo much pain. It was only a few months after that, that she died. :( Mommy is really sad about the whole thing and it's been tough on her since she lost 2 of the most cherished people in her life, me and her mom. So she apologizes for not logging on until now. Mom has since gotten a new cat, Chloe. She is nowhere near as cute or as special as me and mommy reminds me all the time that I am her #1 kitty and always will be. I'm irreplaceable! Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and thank you for checkin' in on me. Me and grandma are up here in heaven having a grand ol' time. I hope you are doing well sweetie! xoxo
