Hello,Glad you stopped by. I'm the baby of the family. I'm a lover & a devil. I like to snuggle w/ my human mom. I love attention, and I like to harrass my roommates when they want to sleep. I hope you will read my story, and visit my roommates too.
HERE IS MY STORY: Unlike my room mates, Mom knows exactly when I was born. It was April 28th of 2007 at 12:20pm. I was the second kit born that day out of 4.
I was the only black and white kitten in the litter (see my baby pictures). When my litter mates and I were old enough to give away (6 - 7 weeks old) no body wanted me because they did not think I was as cute as the others - all the others were fluffy, gray stripe tabbys...so Miss Robin kept me and I became a part of her family. She thinks that my cutest marking is my 1 little black toe on my front right paw.
I live with Uncle Bear, Aunt Daisy, and Shakespeare.
I don't get to celebrate a rescue anniversary like they do, but that is OK because that means I was loved and had a home from day 1.
I got the name Ambrose for 2 reasons. I have Amber colored eyes and my birth mom's name is Rosa - so Miss Robin put the two together to get Amb-rose. Also, Miss Robin looked up the name Ambrose in a baby book and it means "immortal". That kind of fits me too because at a very young age I got poisoned by accident (I ate something I should not have eaten) and the vet thought I was going to die, but I survived!! I frightened Miss Robin to death and she says I have to be more careful because I am already down to 8 cat lives. I promised her to be more careful in the future.
Well I kept my promise pretty good until I was about 31/2, that is when I got crystals and stones in my bladder. I was bad sick and had to stay in the animal hospital for a week in April of 2011. I guess I am now down to 7 lives. Thank God and the doctor for helping me to get better. I made it home in time to celebrate my 4th birthday. I've once again lived up to my name and escaped death. I am counting my blessings :-]
Well that is my story - - Like I said, I have 3 roommates who live with me.
I call them Aunt Daisy, Uncle Bear, and Shakespeare. Please view their pictures and read their story also if you have a free minute.
