I'm almost 14 years old! My mom rescued me from the Riverside Animal Shelter when I was 5 months old.
I usually get brushed outside (for obvious reasons), but it rained so much the patio was flooded & Mom was tired of picking up the clumps of hair. Well, look at that pile of fur - she picked up all she could, then brought out the vacuum cleaner - it almost died (I've never liked that noisy thing anyway).
I started slowing down when I was about 12, so I went to the doctor & now I have to take 6 pills a day for my arthritis, kidneys & hip pain. I want to be around a long time so I can keep protecting my Mom. I love her so much, but I wish she would quit bringing home all these stray dogs. I have 3 younger sisters now & she promised Izzy is the last one! Oh, I have a dad & 1 human sister that I love also.

Hiya Sasha...Mom's oldest daughter has an associates degree in Early Childhood...a Bachelors degree in elementary ed and she is working on her masters in Special ed...she also has other endorsements in special ed that go with her bachelor's degree....mom's family LOVES kids....BTW: the gal who runs the Hope page has dogs named April and Big Guy...she also has 3 cats...Cassie...Jax and Trista...you might want to check out her pets as well. YIKES...that's alotta fur!!!! If I liked being brushed at all, mom would get TONS outta me!! When she vacuums (about every 10 days) she gets a softball sized furball just out of the carpet! Sometimes she picks the chunks off of me if they don't fall off....much appreciated. My hair is embedded in nearly all mom's bedding and fleece/valour attire. +1 for you, sweetie...and your sisters too!!
