Attention! We’re Losing Our Minds Over These Cute Newborn Tiger Cubs

By Renee Colvert

Recently, three Malayan tiger cubs were born at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. It took us a while to handle their cuteness, but we have gathered ourselves together and are ready to report this adorable story.

The cubs' mom, Cinta, was a first-time mama, and her maternal instincts didn't kick in. (A common occurrence for first-time moms.) Zoo vets decided to give Cinta a little break, and take care of the cubs for her in the Zoo's Nursery.

Mike Dulaney, curator of mammals and vice coordinator of the Malayan Tiger SSP assured the public "It's not uncommon for first-time tiger moms not to know what to do. Nursery staff is keeping them warm and feeding them every three hours."

According to the Cincinnati Zoo website, the cubs will be cared for in the nursery until they are weaned, then they will be moved to Cat Canyon. Visitors should be able to see them playing in their outdoor habitat in early spring.

It doesn't appear these cubs have been named just yet, but one thing is certain, they're giving all previous famous trios a run for their money.

This just in! There's also video footage of these little guys.

We'd like to issue a retraction of our previous statement claiming "we have gathered ourselves together and are ready to report this adorable story. " We're a melted puddle again. Please enjoy these photos while we try to pull it back together. They are so cute!
