A feline family of two kitty brothers — Bear and Teddy — provided love and companionship not only to their human parents but to all they came across.

Video of the Day

The adorable duo made daily trips to their neighbor's home, an exchange student from Taiwan, lending a comforting ear to a human in a new land like only a cat can.

When Bear stopped showing up on the daily visits, the student attached a note to Teddy's collar, hoping the inquiry would reach the animal's owner.

The note reads: "Dear Owner, I'm your neighbor, living in 4. I'm also your cats' close friends as they (2 cats) are used to coming to my room everyday. But one of them, a bigger one has disappeared for two weeks. Is he ok? I'm so worried about him. He is so lovely cat and always touched my heart. Wish he is fine. -Y.T. 2/March/2017"

Reddit user, TravUK, shared the note and the story with followers and yes, melted every single heart on the internet. TravUK continued the tear-fest, explaining that he responded to his neighbor informing her that Bear was unfortunately missing from the daily excursions because he passed away.

The two parties exchanged email addresses which only led to TravUK realizing that he was parenting nothing less than a kitty saint. The student informed him in one email exchange that Bear was "touching and talkative" as well as a "good listener" and "an angel." Although the student never figured out why Bear and Teddy made daily trips to her home, she explains just how much joy and friendship the two felines brought to her life. TravUK even shared a photo she took of the cats in her home.

Talk about the secret life of pets! When you think they're out chasing mice, they're out helping hearts! All the feels. Every.Single.One.

Since Bear's passing, TravUK informs followers of the story that the neighbor has visited Bear's grave in their backyard garden and left flowers. There are talks of getting a new cat for Teddy to adventure with, but the owners first need time to grieve and heal.

And let's be honest, so do we.
