Gary Fisher Isn't Living With Carrie Fisher's Daughter, Billie Lourd, After All

By Kayleigh Roberts

Today in Gary Fisher news, Carrie Fisher's beloved French Bulldog has found a forever home and a new surrogate mom to love him forever β€” but not the one you'd expect.

After Carrie Fisher's passing, it was announced that her dog Gary (who is Instagram famous in his own right) would live with her daughter, Billie Lourd.

It made sense. Gary would be staying in the family and, as TMZ reports, he was already BFFs with Billie's bulldog, Tina. But now TMZ has learned Gary is settling in with Carrie's assistant, Corby McCoin, who loved Gary and spent (obviously) tons of time with him when his mom was alive.

Corby and Gary clearly share a special bond and even though it's sad that he won't be with his doggie BFF and human sister, Billie, we're glad that the family made the right call for Gary's happiness and placed him with a human companion who he feels at home with.
