A former government employee has pleaded guilty to misuse of public funds after prosecutors say she charged over $200,000 on a county credit card for, among other things, the purchase of a tiny tuxedo for her even tinier dog.

The Associated Press reports that Kirstie Gross, formerly an administrative assistant for a judge in Hot Springs Arkansas, is accused of also illegally using the funds for a diamond bracelet, sporting events, and household goods.

While the public is rightfully outraged about the misappropriation of public money, some people, also rightfully, aren't even mad about the dog's tuxedo.

Reaction ranged from disbelief ...

... to denial ...

... to humorous ...

... to downright supportive ...

Regardless of public opinion about Gross' dirty deeds, it would appear that the residents of Garland County, Arkansas are decidedly pro-pup, and that's something we here at Cuteness can completely understand.
