Animal lovers know just how important it is to make sure their pets have all of their favorite foods at all times. And when someone dares say the pet is "just an animal" and suggest that a human's needs come first? Blasphemy.
Debbie Izenman is a dedicated pet mom who feeds her 17-year-old cat, Coco, her favorite people food — vanilla ice cream — every single night. It's more than a nice treat; it's a nightly ritual. So when Izenman's daughter, Jenny Katz, made the mistake of eating Coco's ice cream, it was a whole thing.
Izenman asked who polished off the last of Coco's ice cream and Katz quickly cops to the crime, but shows NO remorse, pointing out that Coco is "literally a feline" and "doesn't need a f--kin ice cream."
How dare she?
Izenman didn't let it go though. She used one of the best tools in a pet owner's arsenal: A guilt-inducing, adorably sad picture of Coco, totally dejected about her lack of nightly ice cream.
But don't think that Coco is a diva. Even Katz (aka the ice cream thief), says Coco is the best. "She is the sweetest cat you'll ever meet and the best cuddle buddy," she told Us Weekly.
