Cuteness Interviews Monty the Cat

One glance and you'll know that Monty is a very special feline with a very unique face. And what gives him his uncommonly adorable looks? Monty was born without a nasal bridge due to a chromosomal abnormality. Rest assured, though, Monty is as normal and healthy as a cat can be. Despite being an incredibly loving and gentle guy, Monty lived in an animal shelter for 3 months before he found his furever family, as he was often passed over because of his unconventional appearance. Now, Monty works hard to spread the message that although some adoptable animals may be a bit different on the outside, these cuddly critters are no different in how much they will love you!

...

In Cuteness.com's exclusive interview with Monty, he reveals what it was like to meet his furever family for the first time, what other animal he'd most like to be, and he also offered some invaluable words of wisdom about the importance of loving and accepting everyone as they are.

If you were stranded on a desert island and could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what food would it be?

I am extremely picky. so that is an easy one. Kattovit Urinary I love that one. I’m so picky about food that even if the batch number of the Kattovit has changed (which it does all the time) I won’t eat it. Then my dad needs to trick me to do so by mixing it with the batch number I’m used to.

Out of all your memories, which is the most purrfect?

It must be when I met my mom and dad for the first time at the shelter. I had been sitting there for 3 months and no one wanted to adopt me due to my different look. However, my dad didn’t care he just picked me up and looked me in the eyes. I felt completely safe in his arms and my new mom kissed me on the head. For that moment I knew that we were gonna be the most pawsome family.

Would you rather: have an endless supply of catnip OR have an ultimate 5 story cat condo with 12 different rooms?

I love catnip!! I would also love to have more space but if there is not a garden then I would go for the endless supply of catnip.

If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be and why?

I really don’t know. I would rather have my own TV show where I could snuggle and cuddle with my dad all the time. There should be at least 12 seasons.

If you could be a different animal, what animal would you be and why?

Elephant! Definitely! that is just such a great and huge animal. I would love to have a trunk!

How would you spend a billion dollars?

I would buy a big house with a huge enclosed garden and then there would be several hundreds of million dollars left which I would love to donate to animal shelters all over the world so that other homeless cats could have the same chance for getting a family like I had.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and how would you use it?

I would love to have a special power called LOVE! My power could bring people so much happiness that wars would end and every animal would be treated with respect. No more animal cruelty.

What words of wisdom would you like to share with the world?

We are living in a world where there is a lot of focus on appearance, how you look, how you live, and you have to be perfect! You know what, that is not healthy or the truth! We are all perfect just the way we are! Looking different doesn’t mean you can’t be fantastic! It is all about love and how we treat each other. Be kind to everyone, send a smile to a stranger and I promise you, the world will be a better place.
