There wasn’t a person in the world who didn’t have a soft spot in their heart for the dashing, daring brother who fell victim to an unfortunate witch spell in the 1993 Disney movie, Hocus Pocus.

But before Thackery was helping angsty teenagers bring down vengeful diva witches, he was a handsome colonial, portrayed by Sean Murray, just out there trying to play hero for his kidnapped little sister. Obviously, it didn’t work out.

Wait. Can we talk about how his name is "Thackery" and not Zachary for a hot minute?

In the end, Thackery and the teens successfully defeat those stylish witches and despite being able to inflate like a bike tire after being crushed, and live for centuries - he opts out the cat life to rock the ghost look with his little sister.
