A loving ginger cat
My sweet little dog Ginger was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado & went to the Rainbow Bridge (May, 1991) when she was 16. Ginger's mother was a cute little white Chihuahua named Bay Baby. Ginger was born on my bed. Her three other siblings were still born.Ginger and I did everything together. We went for walks nearly everyday and she always slept with me. She was named Ginger because of her color and because she was full of ginger. She used to wiggle a lot and she also did backward flips in the air without ever having been taught. She loved cats and would only eat cat food and some human food. Ginger was blind and had lost nearly all of her hearing before she left this world. Still she always had a good appetite and always knew right where I was. Ginger was slightly crippled due to having been hit by a car when she was 9 years old. She got around good, just a little slow from her hind legs which were a bit stiff, but she was always ready for her walk and could go up and down stairs pretty good. One day Ginger just quietly went to sleep and her doggie spirit left for the Rainbow Bridge. I pray everyday that she is waiting there for me and that I will see her again. Mommy loves you forever sweet, sweet Ginger.
Ginger is a very sweet girl we got a couple years after the kitty we had for 16 years crossed over the rainbow bridge. I didn't think we would ever get another kitty because I didn't think my husband wanted another one. But it ended up that he missed Sammy as much as I did. But when he suggested we get another kitty, I did some reasearch and decided the kitty I wanted would be a raggamuffin. So we looked and looked and finally found the cuttest little kitten online and we put a deposit on her. she was only 3 weeks old at the time so we had to wait 9 more weeks to get her. The Breeder posted videos on youtube every week so we could watch her play and grow. We were so excited the weekend we went to get her. The breeder lived in Eugene Oregon and we live in Port Angeles Washington, so we met a little south of Portland to pick her up. She was such a brave little girl. We had a carrier for her and the back of the van had a litter box and toys to play with, but she wanted to ride on my husbands shoulder and watch while we drove home. We couldn't hardly keep our hands off of her she was so incredibly soft. Things haven't change much. She is very brave, sweet and gentle and loves to be petted. She purrs in overdrive. Now we have two new kittens and Ginger who is going to be two in October watches over them and takes care of them like they were her own.
the cutest dog out there is right in front of you
I am definitely the 2nd "child" if you know what I mean! My mommy calls me Ginger-licious and my daddy calls me Ginger snaps. My human sisters call me Ginger-Ella. They think it is so funny cuz it sounds like Gingerale! My family loves me! I am spoiled rotten and love my big sister Zoe the labrador!
Hi there! Name's Ginger, sometimes called Ginny, Gin, Gin-Gin, and Puppers. Nice to meet you all! I'm a friend of Mittens, the tabby cat. Go check her out if you want! Well, when I first came upon my owner, Shari, she seemed to be so happy. I was a rescue dog, and was kept in a place nearby Shari's home. Of course, I only knew that when she carried me home! Haha! Me and Shari play together, but sometimes I get too rough and bite her on accident, so she stops playing with me and goes back to whatever she was doing. She goes away a lot for a long time. But when she comes back, I'm always waiting for her! I sleep inside and go for nice walks, and I'm VERY protective of my new home. Any sound that's unfamiliar, I bark until Shari calms me down and says it's nothing. I embarrass myself sometimes. But, no harm done!
