Hal was adopted from a ferret rescue in the neighboring county when he was estimated 2 1/2 years old. I fell in love with him after I picked him up and he just draped himself over my arms and became completely relaxed- I knew I wasn't leaving the rescue without him. Shortly after becoming accustomed to his new home did we realize he had been malnourished at the rescue, and possibly by his previous owner. Since then he's gotten at least 2 inches longer, 3 inches wider, and 100X more of a little rascal! Hal's favorite things to get into are plastic supermarket bags and shoe boxes, but would never dismiss the offer for a cuddle :) Hal loves riding on my shoulders and visiting the local green market downtown, and can't get enough of the adventures of jumping around in the grass and sand on the beach by the sea wall. Hal loves playing tag and hide-and-go-seek, but one thing he will not ever get bored of is SLEEPING. He will find the most bizarre places to curl up in all over my room. Like a bag in the closet, under the book self, and even on that big fluffy dog stuffed animal we have in the corner.
This little man is called many things- from that little weasel to my little moochoo, but he is Hal, and he is one heck of a ferret!
