Heidi came to me as a 17th birthday gift. I got pick out from the humane society. She was sitting in her cage just staring out. I asked about her they told me she would never be good dog for first time dog owner because she was abused. I said I did not care I want to see her I took for a walk. We clicked right away so I took her home and she hid under everything that she could, to scared of the two footers, but that problem was solved with apples, oatmeal cookies and much TLC. She was slow learner but she was sweet and she loved to please. I could not ask for a better dog. She loved to jump and boy she could jump anything no fence could hold her. She also loved to slide down slides at parks. She loved all people especially kids Heidi was a therapy dog for seven months, she got to go to nursing homes, hospitals, foster care buildings and homeless shelters. Heidi May all time favorite places to go was the burn unit and cancer ward. She loved, protected cats and small animals, even fish!! She brought me injured baby squirrel, bird, and rabbit to me once. She loved snuggled with my pet rabbit, rat and cats. Some nights I find all three of them piled on the bed.
Heidi may sick for most of her life, no vet could tell me what was wrong with her,she told me it was time to go on 10TH of September 2003 so I gave the best gift I could give her and ended her suffering.
