Hi my name is Lucky. I am 8 years old and my mommy rescued me from a home where the two big dogs liked to treat me like a chew toy, that is how I gotten my name. I am happy to be in a safe home where I can sleep all day and all the belly rubs I want. I love my mommy a lot and I love to follow where ever she goes even in the car.
My names Lucky, and I'm about to turn 10 months old :) I'm never shy, always friendly, and I love playing. I go everywhere with my owner ;P
Lucky was a very people friendly barn cat. She loved everyone. Lucky spend some years as a housecat but was abandoned at the barn by her owners. The barn owner thought she was petsitting the cat but when the owners never returned Lucky became a barncat. I used to bring Lucky a lot of kitty treats when I would come to the barn. Lucky died in 2008.
Long story short. I am Lucky, I was abused and beaten as a young dog, because I didn't make the best sheepdog. I became pregnant, so my owners threw my out on the streets in town. I was covered in bruises, and suffering from malnutrition. I was found by the pound, and I stayed in their concrete cells for months. It was loud, cold, smelly, small. Nobody wanted me. They wanted purebred puppies, not pregnant, skinny, 2 year old mongrels like me :( I was due to be put to sleep, they couldn't keep me forever. But then, a family of four, with two kids aged 2 and 7, watched me for a while, I didn't yelp and cry like the others. They patted me through the metal bars of my cell. Next thing, I was out walking in the fresh air as the family took me for a trial walk. They loved me, I loved them! I was bought on the spot, and named Lucky, and Lucky I was, for I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for my owners coming that day. I lost my puppies, the vet said I wasn't healthy enough to give birth. But I was fed, looked after, I was warm inside, I was loved, walked, given so much attention. I was difficult for a while, I didn't understand toilet training, or coming when I was called. Now I will do anything I am told :) My owners say I am the best dog they could ever want. I love kids, I am never pushy, the old ladies in my neighborhood love me :) Last year our family was joined my two puppies, Neptune and Soniic, they are like the puppies I never had and I love them so much. Now I am about 11, according to my teeth, I have arthritis and I get quite sore, I sleep about 22 hours a day, but I am always being hugged and patted and I love it <3
Lucky was a homeless cat, living on th ht streets of Las Vegas, NV. HE tried tto get some shade under some cars but was still very hot.I brought him into my house and gave him ice water, and plenty of food. He's a great pet, and very social. He greets everyone that comes by to visit.
