I'm a rescue dog who know lives a life with my beautiful Gay Daddy - I am a blessed girl for getting this second chance in life.
Mama, a siberian husky, was found one day wandering aimlessly in our town... she was badly neglected... covered in tar (unsure how), under-weight and all her teeth were broken off down to her gums... vet says she chewed her way out of something or out of a chain... she was already 12-13 years old when we took her in... She had to have a hysterectomy because she had pyrametra... What a trooper she was... She was with us 3 years!!!!! She was the most appreciative dog I have ever met... she would wait with the others by the door and give you a bath with her tongue when u came home!!! Last summer she let us know it was time to go to heaven... so our vet came to our house helped Mama go to heaven, while she lay on her favorite blanket. She taught us that no matter how bad things are, with a little love, things change for the better... Thanks Mama for letting us love you and proving to you that not all humans are horrible... U are missed and loved dearly!
Mama was rescued from the streets. I am a mail carrier and she would visit me everyday. Such a sweet and friendly girl. It was discovered that she was pregnant and has since had 3 little babies, Smudge, Sumo, and Indie.
My wonderful son, Rocky, found us both a home with Jesse. I am only about 6 months older than my son - and I was skinny and pathetic when I was first taken in - but ever since, I've made it my job to eat lots of Fancy Feast (my fav) and now I'm "pleasantly plump." I live with Jesse (Susan's daughter) and my son Rocky, and adopted son Horatio. I'm fine as long as they don't annoy me too much and mom keeps my bowl full at all times!
