She is the sweetest horse i know
Midnight came to us as a rescue cat, she was previously abandoned and abused by the previous owner and in danger of going feral, we are unsure of her age but she looks about 5 years old. She is very much doted on by my 2 kids and now lives in the lap of luxury. She has the most beautiful, placid loving nature you could ever ask for, she loves to sleep especially next to someone but her favorite spot is on my bed where she has her own pillow and blanket to lay on (she has a thing about using a pillow to rest her head on lol), she has just started bird hunting (I've had a few jobs already cleaning up feathers inside). She's a very happy cat now that she has a furever home and always wants to be around us, she will even sit in the bathroom watching the toddler have his bath. She gets along with all other animals, as you will see in the photos shes gentle with the chooks and rabbits! The best most affectionate loving cat i've ever known <3
Sorry for my lack of grammar in my previous description. Midnight my adorable pet who sleeps with me (on me actually) almost every night. He loves his toys, we hear lots of rattleing at night as he plays with theM. So cute!(:
Miss Midnight came into our lives about 2 years ago. We adopted her from the Kenosha Humane Society. Midnight is a black lab/springer spaniel mix and we couldn't love her more! She is also an avid tennis ball fetcher!
Midnight is a wonderful pet, she loves all of us and is very tolerant of the youngest child in the house. She's always ready to go outside and play catch or run around with the girls. We love her very much and she is a very big part of our family, in fact our family would not be complete without her!
Midnight (Midna) was a small 4 or 5 week old black kitten when our youngest granddaughter caught Midnight and brought her to us. She told us that the mother cat had died and that Midnight needed help. I bottle fed Midnight with kitten replacement milk for about a week and a half. She was pretty friendly the first two or three months until Nicky died. Nicky was Midnight's first boyfriend. Nicky was a cute, very sweet little male kitty. He had a bad cold and his eyes were very runny and he was unable to open them. I nursed him back to health and Midnight and Nicky started acting like soul mates. Nicky got well and was very playful. We all loved this little guy. One day Nicky got a hold of one of my husband's syringes which was full of insulin at the time. I looked and looked for that syringe and could not find it. That evening I called all the kitties to their dinner but Nicky did not come. He always came at meal time. I felt something was very wrong so I searched the house. I finally found Nicky under my husband's recliner chair. Nicky had died and the insulin syringe was laying beside him (empty). Little Midnight was laying beside her best friend and would not leave Nicky's side. I was horrified to find young, healthy, sweet Nicky dead. I had to pick him up and when I did Midnight got very agitated. From that day on (Nearly 4 1/2 years ago now) Midnight does not want me or any human to touch her. She hangs out with our big male cat Tuffy all the time and will not let him out of her sight. The only time I can pet Midnight is when she is curled up by Tuffy. I miss little Nicky everyday and wish I could bring him back. It is painful for me whenever I think about him. I know Midnight blames me for Nicky's death. I wish I could win back Midnight's trust. Tuffy has become Midnight's protector, friend, and companion. She runs from people and likes to hide out in the front bedroom's closet. When I get the chance I will try to get a picture of Midnight curled up with Tuffy. It is real cute how they curl up together and groom each other. If I ever find a picture of Nicky (I know I took two or three a long time ago) I will try to post it on Cuteness.
I got Midnight from my grand parent's house. He had a father that got hit, his mom ran away with one of his sisters, and we caught him and one other male and two females. We kept one of the females and Midnight and gave the other two to an ASPCA where they were kept were well caried for untill they were adopted.
Midnight came to live with us at the beginning of January,2012. He is a old dog. He is just a joy to have around. Very loving. Good watch dog . He gets along with the other kids(Dogs) well.
Hi everyone. My family adopted me when I was about 6 months old. A local humane society put me in a pet supply store for a while to see if I could find a good home - and it worked!! I am very shy around people I don't know. My life before adoption was very frightening and difficult - i don't talk about it much. It made me very wary of humans and dogs. But once I do learn to trust someone, I am the most loyal friend you could ever have. I like to go outdoors, and I am the best hunter in my family (I have 4 feline siblings and one canine). I leave a present on the porch for my family almost every day! I'm not sure what they do with them. . . . I am also the best at pretend fighting - I got skills! Sometimes I play a little dirty - I'll pretend the game is over and I'll start washing, and when the other cat turns away I pounce! Hey, a girl's gotta know how to protect herself! I have beautiful shiny black fur, and I take very good care of it. Well, I think it's time for a nap now . . . ..
I was born on a farm and during a horrible thunderstorm, a guy named Dan (he's my dad but he doesn't like it when I call him that) came and rescued me. When we got home, mom gave me a bath. :( I wasn't too happy about it. After I was dry, I was exploring my new home. I was on Dad's chair and he yelled "Midnight! Get off my chair." I didn't know it was his, but after he yelled at me he asked Mom what she was going to name me. I was Mom's birthday gift, but I'm more of a sister's girl. My sister, Tiffy, is my best friend. You can always find me following her around. But sometimes she leaves, then I'm sad so I stay in the basement until she comes home. But I know she will, so, when Mom and Dad leave for work or shopping, I anxiously sit at the door. I'm just glad to meet you guys and hope you all the best lives. :)
Sadly, I passed away on April 2, 2014. It was a very hard time for Tiffy, Mom and Dad. When I passed I knew I was loved and already very missed. I had a few accidents that day and Tiffy didn't mind the messes. She just kept holding me. When Mom came home from work, she made a small bed for me to absorb my messes (which didn't happen) and keep me as comfortable as possible. Tiffy put me in the bed and cleaned herself up from my lack of ability for do anything for myself. She came back in the room afterwards and I started with a silent meow. She dropped to the floor instantly and picked me up. I purred a short and final purr and that was it. I went in her arms with Mom right beside us. I couldn't have asked for a better family to have been part of for nearly 19 years. I love and miss them tremendously and can't wait until we are reunited. Only, not before their time. :)
I'm the scaredy cat of the family. I'm also called vamp becuase my canines are like fangs he he
I was sitting in a cage at the local animal shelter many years ago when this women and little boy came in. I was just a little kitten and there was alot of other kittens with me. The little boy pulled me out of the cage and told his mom he wanted to take me home and call me "Fish"! Imagine that! After a little convincing, the boy agreed that "Midnight" would be better suiting, Thank heavens! I was always mature for my age and preferred the company of adults.A few years ago, I snuck out of the house and was hit by a car. My mom & dad rushed me to the vet. They said I had a broken tailbone and may not be able to get better. Boy, did I show them! I stayed in the hospital for a long timeand my family would come and visit me. Pretty soon I was able to walk and use my litterbox so I got to go home! I will never sneak out again! I am older now and have a hard time jumping so I just stand on my back legs and meow until someone picks me up. I love sitting on my mom's lap on the computer chair or curling up with the younger cats after they are done playing. I do not like to play with them and have to bat them away and put them in their places sometimes. It's hard being the old, mature one!
