Sweetie
American Longhair

Hello y'all. My name is Sweetie. My family says I am Southern Bell. I do look at them quite a bit with a face that says "Bless your Heart". My family got me from the pound. I was the first kitty that went to the cage door, and they picked me and took me home. They named me Sweetie, cause I was so sweet when they brought me home. After a while I decided not to be as sweet. I only let my mommy and Granny touch my tail, if someone else goes after it, I hiss, scratch, and bite them. What I really like to do is find a ball of yarn or a fuzzy ball, meow really loud through the house and give the gift to my mommy. I also wont let her fall asleep until she has petted me for about 20 minutes then I sleep in the nest that she made for me on our bed.

Mommy rescued me & the rest of my brothers & sisters from under a deck when we were 6 weeks old. I was very out going and playful from the start and everybody wanted to adopt me. Mommy fell in love with me and I had a very close bond with my brother, Spitz whom nobody wanted to adopt because he was mean to the humans. We both would stop eating & get depressed if we were seperated so Mommy kept us together.

Sweetie is my little darling! I've had her since she was 2 months old. She's moody towards most people, but showers her mommy (me) with affection. :3
She doesn't have the Siamese whine, and talks to me all the time. Y'know, sometimes I think she really knows what I'm saying to her. ♥

Sweetie
Ferret
Female

Sweetie came to us when her old family didn't want her and her brother anymore. They came to us in appalling conditions, their cage was horrible, and they stunk awful, worse then the normal ferret smell. They were in very bad conditions. But we cleaned their cage and cleaned them up, are giving them lots of love and they have came along nicely! They love to run and play and get into things like all ferrets do.
Sweetie is just such a sweetheart that's why we decided to name her Sweetie. She is underweight so we are working on putting some weight on her, but other then that she seems to be in good health. She runs, plays, steals, hides, and makes all the cute ferret noises just like she should. She's a GREAT addition to the family. She enjoys chasing the cats around the living room too!

My human daddy raised me from an orphaned kitten. I was an exclusive outdoor cat at our former house, but am enjoying being inside more & more in our new home. I love receiving lots of pats and laying on clean laundry and occasionally, snaring a wild fieldmouse in my romps through the woods. And I like bringing it to my daddy to show him what I've done. I'm small framed, but use every ounce to gain attention. I play the cute card whenever possible.

Sweetie was given to us by a breeder who became ill and was no longer able to care for her. She was a show cat and her show name was Rainincats Sweet Samantha. SHe is a cream colored cat. We call her a movie star. She loves to be pampered and groomed daily. She is a strange cat and always has us laughing with the things she does sometimes. We once held a string in front of her to play with and instead of going after the string, she went after the shadow of the string.

Sweetie McKittles Casper was adopted from Paragould Animal Welfare Society (https://www.pawsparagould.org/) in October 2008. She was almost 3 months old when adopted and our wonderful sister, Ange, gave her to us before she went back to Australia. PAWS was littered with litters of kittens and Sweetie kept pawing and meowing at Helen every time she passed- so really it was Sweetie who picked us! Sweetie loves playing- especially with feather dusters, fuzzballs, and pipe cleaners. Toys for her, needless to say, are very inexpensive! She also loves snuggling with her mommy (Helen), playing with Daddy (Mattie), pouncing on Brother (Nick), to be on her harness/leash to go outside (she's an indoor cat who is mildly agorophobic), riding in the car, chewing on and riding in cardboard boxes, and has a large metal punchbowl that she likes curling up inside and pretending to be "Kitten Stew". She is an only pet and prefers to be that way. While she will play with other pets on occasion, she prefers the company of humans and being treated as one.
