My 2nd and current human Dad got me from a coworker where I was born. My birth family already had an older dog and I was a little too much for him to handle and they were concerned that it problematic if I stayed. I came into my current home of January 14, 2011 at 3-1/2 months. I have a new older brother, Hunter, who is a beagle on steroids (aka Walker Coon Hound). He and I get along great. I also have a new brother cat named Jasper. He and I are playmates, although sometimes he becomes a Ninja kitty and pounces on me. That’s OK, we play it out!
Trixie is our doggie angel. The best girl ever!
Like most Shepherds Trixie is loyal, and passinate for her humans. Very intellegint, and for only 4 1/2 months old behaves very well. She is a mommys girl for right now anyway we only had her for 4 days now,but is already part of the family. She comes from German bloodlines. Both her parents came straight from Germany. She is the 3rd generation in her family.
Trixie rules the house and has no time for foolishness.
I was found at the local pound in January 2002. I was skin and bones, a mere 18 pounds, but now I have a loving home with lots of food, love, and friends! My family thinks I was hit by a car at some point, as my snout and ears are crooked and my eye was busted up (and had to be removed soon after I was adopted). I love following my family around, chewing on my toys, cuddling, and lying on my back on the floor snoring! I'm getting on in years, so I'm I don't feel like sprinting across the yard quite as much as I used to, but that's okay! I love to play with the neighbors' dogs through the fence, run through the bushes, bark at golfers, chase (and be chased by) Max, and stare at you intently as you eat. My bark is truly worse than my bite - many a delivery man has come to the door expected a big dog to be there, but all there is is me little ol' me!
My name is Trixie. I like my name because it fits me very well. I always have trick up my sleeve to entertain my new family. I was lost on the road when mom picked me up. No one claimed me so here I stay. I must say it is a great family and I am so happy to be here. I just wish I could stop getting in trouble... but is is so hard to be good when being bad is so much fun!
We have had Trixie for over 3 years now.We adopted her when she was a young cat, not a kitten but yet not an adult. She runs the house! She is sweet, lovable, and independent.Quite a character! She also has a stepsister, Gia and two new stepbrothers, Steve and Jake.
Hey everybody! Trixie is a purebread Siberian Husky, she is loved threw out the neighborhood and town we live in. She loves to eat!! My food!! And she loves to run, she is very good with our kids but somtimes likes to play alittle rough with them. She is not a good guard dog I have never heard her bark. She instead would lick them and want to play. If anybody is thinking about getting one of these kinds of dogs MUST DO RESEARCH!!!! They are not easy to take care of!! But we love her and we are blessed to have her.
