Simon "Meowell"
Burmese
Male

Simon is a sweetheart...to me...lol. He gets along with my other pets (for the most part), but he's kind of a loner. He's not mean, but he will give a swat at another pet if he feels they deserve it. And not even a hard swat...lol. Just kind of a "get on outta here" swat...lol. He has one very blue eye and one that is slightly green. I saved him by finding him lying beside the road in 100 degree weather. I had just got a bottle of cold water, so after I saw him sprawled out on the ground, I stopped and used my plastic bag, dug a little hole and put the bag inside to hold the water. He went right up to it and drank and drank. I gave him a good pet and said goodbye. But as I went to leave, he slowly sauntered up into the car, (because I've found that's how he always walks..lol), and got up on my lap, and proceeded to nuzzle my neck. I told him he was very welcome, but I had to go now. I put him back out of the car, but he did the exact same thing again. So, I figured he'd chosen me, (as cats do). I also thought, who would leave such a gorgeous cat out in such heat, that he seemed to literally be dehydrated? So I brought him home. And now we're great friends. Now, as you can tell, he's very at ease here and "thinks" he owns the place :)

Kingsley S.
Burmese
Male

Kingsley was adopted from SF Animal Care & Control in August 2008. They found him wandering around outside, so his back story is all guesswork. He was adopted once and then returned. I was his second adopter, and I am the lucky one! AC&C's vet believed the Kingman was 4 years old when I adopted him. He wasn't neutered until he was 4, so he was really muscular and way more athletic and rambunctious than his older brothers when he was first adopted. He has amazing paws that look like hands, because he's polydactyl. Kingsley isn't a lapcat, but he does like to be nearby and he loves to be picked up and held, as long as you remain standing. He's still very playful and often plays with his little "brother" Dobby. He sleeps by my right arm every night and sometimes we go to sleep holding hands. He can be a bit skittery, but I think that's all from the hard times he had before I adopted him.

Della Mae
Burmese
Female

Della Mae Hero
She is all black and just as sweet as sweet can be.

Shaka
Burmese
Female

Hi...I'm Shaka my roomates are Cheyenne (who we just lost) ;-( ,Tigra, and Mickey. I am very feisty. I scratch and bite a lot. But... I can be very nice at times, too. Lately I have been moping around the house because of the loss of Cheyenne. I miss her a lot!! Even though I gave her a rough time, sometimes. I hang out a lot with Tigra. She follows me everywhere. Sometimes I can't get a moments peace. Mickey stays clear of me. She's smart. But.... like I said, I can still be very loving. I'm just getting a little older, that's all!

Bella
Burmese
Female

Bella is a love..a real one person cat. She is a lap sitter a snuggler and a cuddler...born to follow you and be your one true love. Quirky and unpredicible except for the lovable part!

Razzy
Burmese
Female

My name is Razzy and I am a very vocal Burmese. I love to sleep under the covers with my owners at night and demand to be "let in". I also retrieve paper wads and crunchie balls ( to the amusement of my owners). Some memebers of the household describe me as "tempermental ". I love to play,. to the shagrin of the "older cats in the house" who have little tolerance for me. I love to walk on the wild side at times by walking on the staircase banister- which really sends my owners into a "frenzy" I also love to play tag with my owners ( I always win) I hope I make lots of new friends here on C.A.H.

Bagheera
Burmese
Male

Bagheera (Biggie, Mr. Big) was found in a rubbermaid box with his brother King Louis. His fur is black. Biggie is a total flirt and loves all the (human) ladies that come to visit him. His hobbies are playing with the laser pointer, bird watching, and watching over his fish (he considers himself the protector of all of his fish in our fish tank). Biggie may be quieter than his brother, but he is a charmer!

King Louie
Burmese
Male

King Louie (AKA Lou, Mr. Lou, Louie) was found in a rubbermaid box with his brother Bagheera. His fur is black smoke (black with a white undercoat). He's a complete attention hog. His hobbies are begging at the table, playing with his favorite toy mouse, bird watching, and "fishing" (we have a fish tank - he can't get to the fish, but a cat can dream!). He's recently added chasing the laser pointer to his list of favorite hobbies.
