We had been cleaning up the neighborhood of stray cats, finding them homes, getting them fixed and shots. We placed over 50 cats in homes,
Any way, we thought we were all done and a co-worker came to me with this litter of 4 and the mother, only 2 days old. They were all so cute. So we took them in and took care of them until they were old enough to find a home. One kitten was loving the camera more than the others. He would crawl over his sisters just to get to the camera. When ever someone would come to see the kittens, this little one would hide. He would only come out for the camera, so we started calling him "Hammy". Everyone found a home, but Hammy, he would not let anyone see him but us and my neighbor. The last kitten left and Hammy was still there, so we brought him over to my house. In a matter of minutes he walked around like he had been here before and was master of the pride. We had a few other cats and they did not know what to think of him. After a week he stayed with us and he was happy as can be. If there is trouble to be found, Hammy will find it. He even chewed the wire to a lamp in half and got shocked!!! He is still living, we think he used 8 of his 9 lives that day. We have so many pictures of him that you can just see the devil in his face. My husband says "He has a Raccoon face,Bat ears and a Monkey tail" Look at his picture and you will see what I mean. He had big ears even as a baby. He keeps us laughing all the time and so do the others.
