Karma is a street rescued kitty. Her old owners would literally toss her out the door. She showed up on my front porch looking hungry. I was use to feeding a few other street cats so I put out a bowl/water for her and went on with my day. Late afternoon I hear a light knock on my door, there's 2 neighbor girls holding this kitty asking me to take her in. Told me she would be at their bus stop,etc..My 3 yr old son was right beside me pulling on my shirt,"Please momma can we keep her. You're a RN?" How could I turn away a small scared bundle of fur in need of medical care (I'm a humans RN)and a forever home? After fighting major infections, she's a blessed addition. Must have been a good Karma that brought her to us. Hence her name of Karma. She holds her own with 1 brother and 1 sister. Also rescues.
