Lazy, lovable black cat.
I had just lost my long time cat, Morpheus, when I was so down I couldn't hardly stand it. I told my then boyfriend. I *must* get a new cat. I can't go without any longer. You can never replace a pet, but you can make a new friend to ease the pain.
We went to the local animal shelter... they were too busy to even let us hold or pet the kittens and cats. :/ I decided though I wasn't leaving without a cat so I finally just said "that one" and pointed to one of the male black kittens.
I turned to my boyfriend and told him that this would be a good time for him to pick out a cat as well. He loves cats but had never had his own outside of the family cats growing up. He chose an orange tabby that was supposedly Kiran's brother. Turns out after we got them to the vet to be neutered, his brother was indeed his sister.... and became Adalia.
Kiran is the most passive cat I've ever known. He's a perfect cat for kids. He just lays there and takes whatever without so much as a meep. He has never bitten... even in play. He takes a bath better than most dogs... seems to enjoy it even.
He is very lazy. His two favourite things in the world are sleeping and eating. He will play, if enticed, but otherwise, he's probably passed out belly up.
Which I take as an invite, considering he loves his belly rubbed, and will purr his little face off if you pet him.
