Mom says that I fit my name perfectly. I am a storm and always have been. I even love to sit on the window sill and watch storms! I have been living with Moky and Gypsy for about 3 years now (Bella recently joined the family this past January), having been adopted when I was 6 weeks old. My former lodging was in the bathtub of one of Mom's colleagues. There I lived with all my siblings and cat-mom.
I am terribly afraid of strangers. Whenever people come to visit us, I run and hide where nobody can find me. Somehow, Mom always finds me, and when she does, I stare at her with wide-open eyes as if to say, "Why are these people in my home?"
I love lying in the sun, by the window, and I need to be as close to Mom as possible. I hate when she goes to work, but this is something she needs to do to keep me (and my siblings) well-fed and cared for.
I am a gray and dark gray striped tabby cat. I weigh about 10 pounds and weighed 9 pounds at one-year-old. My mom believes that tabby cats are predisposed to obesity and has read that the dry food I eat may be the culprit. I don't eat a lot of the canned food she serves all of us although I love the gravy and lick it off of whatever canned food she gives me.
We recently moved to a 2-story apartment, so now I can exercise to try to keep the weight off me. The food and water are downstairs, and the litter boxes are upstairs, so I guess I have no choice. mol!
Still, I love my new home now that I've gotten used to it. There's more room here, which is always good, right?
