I saw Lizzie sitting by the side of a busy road near my work several times, but every time I turned the car around to check on her, she was gone. But one day, I saw her up and walking down the street and I could tell she was in bad shape. Luckily, that day was the time she stayed put and when I came back with a cat carrier and treats, and after talking to some people in the area, Adam and I were able to catch her. She was skin and bones, covered in fleas and had practically no fur left. Yet she immediately was a loving and sweet cat. After lots of medicines and food and love, she is now up to a good weight and her fur has grown back in, medium length much to our surprise. She loves attention, giving kisses and sleeping on top of us.
