Sweetest puppy ever, very playful.
Hello! I'm Bella. I am a sweet, gentle dog. I don't jump on people, I don't bite, and I don't scratch. I am pretty sweet, but I'm also very protective of my people. I am not fond of fetch or toys, but I LOVE running with my people and dog friends. But I sadly passed away because of my age on January 27,2015. But in doggie heaven, I like watching the Hall's new puppy, Patrick, grow. You can look at Patrick on his account!
Hey! I'm Bella and I LOVE attention! My best friend, Marley, and I play and wrestle all the time. I also love to eat.
Bella is certainly one of the sweetest dogs ever, and a beauuuuutiful Sheltie~ She has many nicknames around this house, including Bellers, Sheltie-girl, Booboo, Bella-Boo, Bellers Anne, Smella (because she sniffs everything, haha), Smellers, and more. She's extremely friendly, especially toward other animals, but quite shy around new people. She loves everyone, unless they are a purely mean-spirited person. Her favorite hobbies are sleeping on my bed (but shh, it's not really allowed here! ;P), playing with her favorite toys (all of which have names, and she knows every one of them!), pets/scratches/cuddles, and spending time with her best friends; Lucy the kitty, Zoey the Golden Retriever, Molly the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and Max the Border Collie/Boxer.
She's sweet. Hyperactive. Likes to chase herd animals. Freaks out at new people and dogs. Very intelligent.
Really cute loves to play and go for walks and loves pictures she loves hiking too!
This is Bella. I've always thought of her as shih tzu-lhasa apso, so that's what I say! :)
We rescued her from a bad situation she was 4 months old. An ad was posted on craigslist about a lady who had found a pregnant shih tzu and she had puppies. Bella was the only one she could not find a home for. The lady mentioned she was in bad shape as the lady was very poor. We drove 2 hours (just to see her) as soon as the lady brought her out, my husband (boyfriend at the time) said, let me pull out my wallet. (the lady wanted $60 for her) He knew she was coming home with us if we had to pay $500. She was covered in ticks and fleas to the point when you'd look in at her face, you saw fleas crawling all over her and into her nose holes. She'd obviously been that way for awhile since she didn't even flinch. The lady we took her from brought her out in her arms. She was very depressed, she refused to walk. We took her to the vet the next morning, they did everything needed (basic shots, pills for the fleas and ticks, blood work) and found out she only had circle worm. (Not so bad) A week later, I came in at midnight from my job, and she was vomiting constantly. I rushed her to the emergency clinic. They assumed with her symptoms it was parvo. They gave her IV injections in her spine to get her through the night. I bawled as I heard her yelping in the back from the pain. I was very young and not able to pay $500 for a parvo test and antibiotics. They said the injections would be $120 with everything. I accepted that, but I was bawling. In the end they only charged me $10. I was so blessed. We never did get the parvo test as the veterinarian proceeded to do fluid injections and she recovered well from that. He believed her blood sugar was just very low and she was getting dehydrated from not drinking or eating. I am very thankful she made it through it all, and with everything wrong with her I knew she was still beautiful so I wanted to call her Bella. I still call her beautiful all the time.
Honestly, she is the best dog I could ever ask for. She adjusts to every situation pretty well. She loves being outdoors, but she also loves being lazy inside. Her favorite toy is her booda (in her picture), but I enjoy watching her drag around her 24-inch loofa.
I call her Boopie - I mess with her and tap her nose and go boop. At first she would just look at me like what are you doing, but now she thinks of it as a game. Eventually I just started calling her boopie. She loves big dogs. She doesn't mind little dogs at all, but she just loves the big boys. Until we moved to Korea, I'd never met a person she didn't like. Apparently she does not like Korean men...unless they are Americanized. My husband's friends come over who are Korean, but soldiers, and she loves them, but she will not walk up to a Korean man. I think it's because when we were first here one flicked her in the face after pretending he was going to pet her. She connects with children so well. She absolutely loves them and knows how to act with each one. She loves giving kisses, and her favorite person is her mommy :) haha just kidding. She has mommy and daddy days. Certain days she loves on my husband constantly and other days she ignores him and loves on me. All around, she is my little baby, and I don't know what I'd do without her.
