My name is Holly, my owner''s mom found me abandoned underneath a Christmas tree in a Safeway parking lot, when I was only 6-7 weeks old. Her mom brought me home and I was given a bath, while her mom bought be some food and a bed. But my owner allowed me to sleep with her so I wouldn't be scared anymore, and we bonded. I have some issues, but I am getting better. My owner spoils me and I am very happy.
My daddy and I met one day at PetSmart when I was in an adoption fair. He took me to a private place and I put my head on his leg. He told me he wanted me to go home with him. I did. After that, he sang to me, petted me, comforted me, loved me and fed me pickles. One day, he came home and told me I had a new mommy. I was real sick and needed to be loved more often. My mommy did that. Not long after that, mommy and daddy took me to see the nice lady doctor. She gave me a shot and I fell asleep. When I woke up, I was in heaven. No more sickness. Not long after that, daddy's brother came to live with me. I love Uncle Jerry and he takes care of me until daddy gets here. One more thing... I had throat cancer. And I really miss my daddy.
Holly is a gorgeous (and she knows it!) little girl. Her nickname is squirrel because she loves to squirrel up and snuggle with everyone! She loves to play with all kind of animals especially our friend Ben's schnauzers and horses, Amber's 4 cats and my mom's yellow lab. She loves all people, especially kids. She loves to go for walks and chew her rawhide bones. She is very well-behaved but hates to be by herself- She makes me laugh and smile everyday whether she's wiggling on her back because she has an itch or she's doing her crazy pug run- I love watching her sleep and play and listening to her wacky snore- she is my best friend.
Holly had a brother, the love of my life and my first pug, Jackson. He passes last December and we miss him very much. Words cannot describe what that dog meant to me, but I am very grateful that I had Holly to help me through it.
Holly was a pound puppy. She chose us at about 12 weeks of age. She looks like a little lamb. Her favorite pastimes are swimming, walks on the beach, and wrestling with her brother Hobie.
I have been a little sick lately. Mom and my doctor think I ate some rat poison. I had to get a trasfusion from a friendly Rhodesian Ridgeback. That was awfully nice of him! I'm home now and taking vitamin K. My Mom spoils me rotten now. That doctor was really good to me!
We got Holly from a shelter a few weeks ago. She is the center of our lives. She's very playful and very intelligent. Already housetrained and is starting to learn basic commands.
