Mama Dog And Her Puppies Thriving After Being Found In Garbage Is A Story Full Of Love
Sometimes, a mama dog has the good fortune to bring her puppies into the world in a loving home filled with soft beds and tasty food. Other times, a mama has to struggle to help her little puppies survive any way she can. Indah is one such resilient mother. She and her three puppies were living amongst trash when a good Samaritan found them and whisked them away to a clinic for help.
"She was in a pretty bad condition," Prue Barber explained in a YouTube video that has been viewed more than 343,000 times. Barber is the founder of Mission Paws'ible, an Australian charity that rescues dogs in Bali, Indonesia. The video showed Indah and her three puppies going to live in a foster home, where they got the space and the loving care they needed to grow healthy and strong. Eventually, the charity found good homes for all of them.
"So heartbreaking watching how humans can be so cruel monsters harming vulnerable animals 😡😡😡," one viewer wrote. "Why why why do humans treat animals so bad when they are so amazing and have pure hearts 🥰 🥰 Thank you for rescuing them!" another added.
Why fostering is important in animal rescue
Indah and her three adorable puppies had the chance to heal and thrive while living with their foster family. "They had the run of the garden. They had a private bedroom. They were able to flourish," Barber said in the video. Though the puppies quickly found their forever homes, finding the right place for Indah was more time-consuming. "It took her probably three to four more months until we found the right match for her," Barber said. Fortunately, foster homes are far less stressful than animal shelters, and can help dogs thrive, like in the case of a rescue dog who gives emotional support to tiny foster animals. By living with a foster family instead of in a shelter, Indah and her babies were able to relax and get comfortable, making it easier for prospective families to see the dogs' true personalities shining through.
That personality also shone in the video, with many comments loving Indah and her pups. "What a beautiful and sweet, loving Mama furbaby. I just love [that] she found her forever home. Given a chance, I would have adopted each and every one of this beautiful family. ❤❤❤❤," one viewer wrote. "Oh what a lovely story. ❤ Puppies are fabulous, chubbs, but can we gush over Indah? What an amazing, resilient, spunky, loving dog! I'd have put my name up to adopt ❤❤❤," another commented.
