Bengal Cat Sprinting Along Her Climbing Walls Will Give You A Dopamine Hit

Cats naturally get the zoomies from time to time, but not all cats are fortunate enough to do their zoomies in a living room that's been transformed into their own personal amusement park. However, two Bengal cats named Jupiter and Jake have exactly this kind of indoor playground. In a TikTok video that's been viewed more than 4 million times, Jupiter joyfully races around the living room's walls in one direction, turns around, zooms back, and then reaches out a paw to bop her videographer. The living room is filled with everything an indulged kitty could possibly dream of: a scratching post, a climbing tree, shelves and window perches at various levels, a wall-mounted basket, and a cat tunnel mounted high above a cabinet.

"That cat is a menace! A beautiful, energetic menace," one viewer wrote. Many of the viewers were so enchanted by Jupiter's version of cat parkour that they wanted to learn how to do a similar setup for their own feisty felines, asking practical questions about how to secure the window perches and how to prevent a big-screen TV from tipping over whenever a galloping cat ricochets off of it. Meanwhile, one viewer wrote, "I'm totally failing my cats," and another joked, "My cat saw this and told me we're poor."

What are the usual characteristics of a Bengal cat?

The Bengal cat breed, known for its unique characteristics, came about in the 1960s when Asian leopard cats were crossed with domestic shorthair cats, resulting in a sweet-tempered, smart, and self-assured cat. They make good house pets and usually get along well with other animals and children.

When it comes to their appearance, Bengals tend to have large eyes, interesting facial markings, muscular bodies, and distinctive leopard-like spots, called rosettes. These striking animals are one of the most stolen cat breeds thanks to their rare features, like beautiful looks and silky fur, which tempt thieves.

Many Bengals act like kittens their entire lives, remaining curious and energetic even as seniors, and they often enjoy playing in water and learning new tricks. These popular cats are considered one of the noisiest cat breeds, speaking up loudly to demand attention or food. One viewer of the TikTok video shared, "My [Bengal] likes his walks, he likes fetching his ball and likes water. He's also easily bored and very vocal about it." Another wrote, "The Bengal energy level is unmatched lol." Truer words have never been spoken!
