Schnauzer Puppy's Long Eyelashes Make Her Look Just Like A Disney Character
Some dogs look perpetually disheveled, no matter how often or how thoroughly they're groomed, while others look ready for a glamorous photo shoot the minute they open their eyes in the morning. Minnie the schnauzer puppy definitely belongs in the second group. In a TikTok video that's been viewed more than 227,000 times, Minnie gives a couple of huge yawns after being woken up, and her eyelashes are so long and perfectly styled that they look like a makeup artist toiled away for hours on them. Viewers couldn't get enough of the doggy diva, describing her as cute, stunning, precious, a "Barbie schnauzer," a "beautiful little angel," and a "princess puppy." One wrote, "She is gorgeous 💗 reminds me of a Disney character!" while another commented, "Oooo she's mogging them cameras." Minnie's over-the-top beauty has clearly sparked a few questions over the past few months, causing her owner to write on the dog's main account page: "Some people think I'm AI, but in fact I AM REAL."
The many types of adorable schnauzer
Of all the small wirehaired dog breeds, schnauzers are arguably the most charming, with their playful personalities, expressive eyebrows, and bushy beards reminiscent of little old men. The American Kennel Club recognizes three types of schnauzers: the miniature, which weighs 11 to 20 pounds; the standard, which weighs 30 to 45 pounds for a female and 35 to 50 pounds for a male; and the giant, which tips the scales at 55 to 80 pounds for a female and a whopping 75 to 95 pounds for a male. Clearly, only the miniature and standard schnauzers are considered small dogs, but all three types are popular as pets.
Miniature schnauzers are considered one of the smartest dog breeds in the world. Originally bred to work on farms and catch rats, these hardy little dogs are fast learners who need new challenges to keep from getting bored, making them excellent competitors in dog agility events and obedience challenges.
Minnie would be a shoo-in to win a competition for best eyelashes or overall cuteness. As one viewer of the TikTok video wrote, "So much cuteness should be illegal."
