Chaos the husky is a magical-looking canine, with a name and majestic blue eyes perfectly primed to make him a character in a fantasy novel. It's honestly hard to look away, and his new fans agree. Several viewers commented on Chaos' magnificent eye color and brilliant fur, with one saying, "That's the most wolf-looking husky I've ever seen."

It's true. Chaos looks so much like a wolf that it's almost strange to watch him sitting in a car. No matter what, though, one thing's for sure: as another commenter so rightfully noted, Chaos is absolutely a "force of nature."

Is Chaos actually part wolf?

Huskies are known for their fascinating resemblance to wolves. In general, all dogs (even the cutest small dog breeds in the world) share 99% of their DNA with their ancestors, wolves. While these canines have a wild-looking appearance, huskies are actually of the domesticated dog group called spitz; dogs known for their double coats, pointy ears, and overall ability to withstand the cold.

Now, for dogs that are actually mixed with wolves, look no further than wolf-dog hybrids. These animals are a blend of both modern-day wolves (Canis lupus) and dogs (Canis lupus familiaris). The main difference between huskies and wolf-dogs is that dogs' thousands of years of domestication have made them easier to train and interact with humans, whereas wolves and wolf hybrids are understood to be much more challenging to care for, as they are essentially animals accustomed to living in the wild.

Luckily, majestic huskies like Chaos are here for those of us interested in a wild look, but a tame pup. We'd call that a nice compromise!
