Pomeranian Is 'Kinda Busy' Causing Chaos Around The House Like A Tiny Tornado

Considering how small Pomeranians are, it's truly astounding the huge amount of mischief they can cause. Need proof? In a hilarious TikTok video that's been viewed more than 1.3 million times and earned over 141,000 likes, a tiny tornado of a dog hurtles around the house at top speed, unrolling toilet paper as she goes. The busy dog is also shown galloping around carrying a slipper, a shoe, and a sock, then she tugs on a long gown with her teeth. "Sorry I cannot hear you...I'm kinda busy," is written over the top of the video while those same lyrics play from the Lady Gaga song "Telephone."

Viewers instantly fell in love with the sassy little sweetheart, calling the teeny dog a "fluffy ball of chaos" and "the cutest thief." "Running around with TP like blocking off a crime scene 😂," one person wrote, while another asked cheekily, "Why is your duster stealing all your stuff? 😂" Several owners of Pomeranians shared that their adorable doggos also love running off with items, with one writing, "ALL FOUR of my poms do this😭 Found one of my crocs OUTSIDE [because] of these floofy thieves 😭😭😭😭." But why do these dogs enjoy thievery so much?

Why Pomeranians like to steal stuff

Pomeranians are undeniably adorable, with their smiling faces and short legs. They're so cute, playful, and tiny — weighing well under 10 pounds — that living with a Pomeranian can feel like owning a puppy forever. However, they're also extremely intelligent and curious dogs that need a lot of mental stimulation, playtime, and attention. A Pom that feels bored or restless won't hesitate to steal something and run off with it to get an owner's attention. And if the owner responds by chasing, then the fluffy little rascal may treat the whole experience as a fun game that should be repeated as often as possible. One viewer of the TikTok video joked, "God forbid a girl has hobbies."

Some dogs also steal as a self-soothing behavior, especially when left alone too often or for too long. These dogs will take items fragrant with an owner's familiar scent, such as dirty socks, in an attempt to feel safe, secure, and comfortable.
