Chihuahua Shakes With Excitement When He Realizes He's Getting A Little Treat

Every day, countless pampered pooches throughout North America get treated to pup cups. Tinker the Chihuahua is one of those lucky dogs. In a cute TikTok video that's been viewed more than 693,000 times and racked up over 80,000 likes, Tinker quite literally shakes with excitement as he waits in the drive-through lane for his pup cup to arrive, whining impatiently and wagging his tail. When the cup of whipped cream is finally handed to him, Tinker digs in enthusiastically, getting a smudge of whipped cream on his snout in the process.

Viewers couldn't get enough of the darling dog. One person commented, "What in the baby Yoda, is going on with those INCREDIBLE ears??!! Is that a special breed?? Instant add to cart!!" Even people not normally fans of the ancient breed that originated in Mexico couldn't help but be charmed by Tinker's antics, with one writing, "Never been a big fan of the Chihuahua breed, but this little dude is adorable."

Why do dogs love pup cups so much?

Anyone who's ever watched their dog eat poop, rocks, or pinecones may wonder what dogs actually like to eat, since it often seems like they'll chow down on anything they can fit in their mouths. Dogs are opportunistic omnivores, which means their ideal diet consists of both meat and plants.

Pup cups usually contain nothing more than whipped cream. Just like humans, dogs enjoy the sweetness and rich texture of whipped cream, making it a covetable treat. As with humans, dogs shouldn't indulge in drive-through fast food every day, since it tends to be high in sugar, fat, and calories. But for pups like Tinker, the treat can be extra exciting. One viewer of the TikTok video also has a dog who gets excited in the drive-through lane: "Our little Elphaba knew good things came from drive thru windows. We had to start keeping treats in the car for that reason."
