Great Pyrenees Mix Getting Barked At On His Walks Is An 'Unproblematic King'
A well-behaved pup can make the difference between a sunny or a sour day, and sometimes, a good dog is one that knows when not to do things. One such good dog is in this super cute TikTok, featuring a truly unproblematic king. In it, a Great Pyrenees and Anatolian shepherd dog mix responds to a chorus of barks in the best way, which is no way at all.

Milo's a pretty chill guy. Yet, according to the TikToker, he's often the focus of many-a-bark-fest. On a daily walk, the clip shows Milo and his dog parent stopping right in front of a rambunctious crew of barking pups, but Milo is incredibly unfazed!
Being chill in the face of chaos is quite possibly the ultimate good boy move, and viewers were pretty impressed. One imagined Milo thinking those barks were simply "the price you pay for being fabulous." Another joked that "his subjects are celebrating him," alluding to Milo's regal and unbothered vibe.
What makes dogs bark at each other?
Milo's a class act, but not every dog is that chill. Just look at that crew of hecklers in the video! But what on earth causes excessive dog barking, especially on walks, in some dogs and not others, and is there any way they can act a little more like our "unproblematic king?"
There are plenty of reasons dogs bark, but having an especially barky dog might have to do with its breed. Beagles, for example, can be pretty loud due to their hunting origins. Then, there are very territorial pups like Chihuahuas, known for their yappy disposition. Well, there's a reason for that! These tiny but feisty fidos were bred to be watchdogs, so often their barks are meant to communicate alarm.
If you feel you've got a dog that barks too frequently, it's important to pay attention to its surroundings and body language; it's likely trying to communicate something. Understanding your dog can also help you decide on ways to possibly lessen the barking. For instance, outdoor activities beyond your morning walk might help a rather energetic pup be calmer and quieter throughout the day. Who knows, you may have a budding unbothered king on your hands just like Milo!
