Scottish Terrier Puppy Helps Move Furniture Like The Cutest Little Assistant
Many dogs like to be in the center of all the action, taking part in whatever their people are doing. That's certainly the case with a Scottish terrier named Bonnie. In an adorable TikTok video that's been viewed more than 1 million times and accumulated over 151,000 likes, the cute little Scottie "helps" her humans as they move a piece of furniture by using her mouth to tug repeatedly on the mat under the furniture. "Bonnie when the task requires zero dogs" is written across the video.

Many viewers jokingly defended Bonnie (and all dogs), leaving comments like "This clearly requires at LEAST 1 dog!!" and "Can't think of any tasks that don't require dogs actually soooo not sure what you are even saying 😂." Some netizens phrased their comments as bullet points on Bonnie's imagined resume, such as "Entrepreneur mindset" and "Takes initiative. Self-starter. Team player 📝." Several people also commented on the Scottie dog's hard work. One wrote, "She's like 'are yall even pushing? Why I feel like carrying the weight.'" Another shared, "At least the dog is helping my dog would stare at me and judge me."
Scottish terriers as a dog breed
Common characteristics of Scottish terriers include confidence, independence, and intelligence, all of which Bonnie shows in abundance. Originally bred in Scotland to hunt rats and other vermin, these bold little dogs tend to possess strong personalities and a stubborn streak. The American Kennel Club describes these strong-willed pups as having "a dignified, almost-human character." They are often wary around strangers or other dogs.
Scottish terriers are commonly mistaken for schnauzers or West Highland white terriers. When it comes to the difference between a schnauzer and a Scottish terrier, the two breeds look very similar, but schnauzers tend to be somewhat less stubborn and a bit easier to train. The most obvious difference between Westies and Scottie dogs is that Westies are always solid white in color, while Scottish terriers are never white, instead having fur that is black, wheaten, or brindle. Westies are also more likely than Scotties to get along with other pets and small children.
