Believe it or not, this video captures the very exact moment Moos knew he'd found his forever home. His new dad stands slightly outside of the frame as this sweetheart little Cocker spaniel stares up at him with the most precious puppy dog eyes. Moos seems totally comfortable when his dad pets him, too, which is wonderful fur-shadowing for their life together.

Cocker spaniels originate from energetic canines originally bred to be hunting dogs in the British Isles. The Cocker spaniel came to the United States on the Mayflower in 1620, and now the American and English are considered different breeds due to years and years of breeding separately. Both were especially popular between the 1940s and 1950s, and even featured in the Disney classic "Lady and the Tramp" in 1955.
American cocker spaniels have slightly smaller and shorter muzzles than their English counterparts, and due to breeding, the English have a larger variety in coat color. As for American Vs. English Cocker spaniel temperament, though, both are quite similar. They're easygoing and sweet, similar to how Moos seemed in the video.
