Gorgeous Fluffy Cat Asks Politely For Dad To Pick Him Up & Then Packs On The Love

In any home ruled by feline flights of fancy, there is often a chosen human who soaks up the cat's cuddles and affection, and then a spare human, who gets stuck with the feeding and litter-box chores but receives little of the cat's attention in return. 

A TikTok video that's been viewed more than 699,000 times makes it clear who a Siberian cat named Cloud prefers. The fluffy feline stretches toward the videographer's spouse, asking politely to be picked up, then gently kneads the chosen one's beard and allows himself to be kissed on his fuzzy belly. Text overlaid on the video says, "Another day of watching my cat completely melt for my husband," and the caption reads, "And yes, I'm the one who feeds him and cleans his litter box🥲😹."

Viewers expressed delight to see such a strong bond between a man and a cat. "I don't ever think I've seen a cat love a man like this 😂," wrote one, and another commented, "That is such a special kind of love 💕 The love from a floof is a different kind of love." Several people joked that the wife ought to give the pair some privacy. "That's his husband ma'am," one netizen quipped, while another cheekily suggested, "Welp. You might have to move out and let them have the house. 🤷🏻‍♀️"

Siberians are one of the fluffiest cat breeds around, with their adorable ear tufts and long ear fur, and they're known to be loving and affectionate cats who don't tend to be skittish around strangers or other pets. Some, like Cloud, form a strong bond with one person, demanding extra snuggles from that person, but in general they tend to be friendly toward everyone in the household.

Many viewers of the TikTok video shared their experiences of being a cat's second choice. "I'm the feeder and litter box cleaner and I don't get half as much love. Gotta be the beard lol," one netizen wrote. Another person warned, "Girlllllll if you don't put a stop to that, you will be in the corner chair sitting by yourself like me 😩. My two cats take up the sofa with my husband," to which the video's creator responded, "Oh no 😭 At least my girl cat Lola loves me more." It would seem that Cloud and Lola each have selected their favorite humans, and the humans had zero say in the matter.
