Chatty Cat Complains Until He Drags His Bed Right Where He Wants It
Some cats know exactly what they want, and they don't hesitate to demand it. In a funny TikTok video that's been viewed more than 81,000 times, a cat named Sponge meows quite stridently until his dad asks, "Did you want the bed again?" The loud kitty then proceeds to drag his fluffy cat bed out of the room, meowing his complaints the entire time. The video is captioned, "Yes. I want my bed."

Viewers were charmed by the demanding fuzzball. "Even with a mouth full of bed still has plenty to say 😂," noted one, and another commented, "He's a sassy one. He wants the last word in any conversation." One netizen observed, "You can still hear Sponge even as he walks farther away 😭😭," while another confessed to sharing Sponge's feelings: "I'm with Sponge I want my bed again this morning too."
This seems to be nothing new for Sponge. Other adorable videos shared by the TikTok account show the chatty cat looking for his bed, deciding whether or not to drag his bed downstairs, and (of course) loudly requesting his bed.
Snowshoe cats are known to be chatty
One netizen described Sponge as "polite and adorable," while others called him "so handsome 😍" and "such a beautiful baby 😻😻😻." When asked, his owner explained in a comment that Sponge is a snowshoe cat.
This breed began in the 1960s when Siamese cats were bred with American shorthair cats. Since Siamese cats are one of the noisiest cat breeds, it comes as no surprise that snowshoe cats can also be extremely vocal. Other snowshoe cat breed characteristics include intelligence and playfulness. These medium-sized cats tend to have muscular builds, striking-looking eyes, and white paws, which have lent the breed its name. They usually get along well with children and other household pets. It's not unusual for a snowshoe cat to bond closely with one person and follow that individual around in a dog-like fashion.
