Corgi Stars In His Own American Horror Story Intro Sequence But Is All Sweetness, No Scares

With spooky season comes incredibly frightening (see: adorable) pet costumes and decorations. Seriously, how can you be scared of these dog-o-lanterns? But now, thanks to a viral Instagram video, spooky season also brings perfectly produced spoofs of popular, macabre TV. Yup, one corgi shines in a remake of his own "American Horror Story" intro sequence — only his version is all sweetness, and no scares.

Fans may know that "American Horror Story: 13" premiered on September 24, 2026, but might not be aware of the special treat — Korgo the corgi's full ghoul-mode in his very own "spot on" "American Horror Story" intro sequence. The short clip features adorable Korgo in various creepy scenarios inspired by the franchise. He swims in a scary red pool, gets captured by a blanket monster, wears devilish ears, and is even in a trippy kaleidoscope scene. 

Fans of the show called Korgo's take on the intro "cinematic genius." Some believed a Korgo-themed show would be even better than the original! One viewer joked, "I'd watch this season of Freak Show," and we agree, though there may be more "awws" than "ahhs!"

Korgo's "American Horror Story" parody is one for the ages, but outside of whole mini productions inspired by television shows, Korgo's no newbie to big adventures — all of which are nothing short of adorable.

Ever since Korgo and his mom and dad moved into a gorgeous new home, they've traveled quite a lot, and he seems to love it. One picture shows the super cute corgi peering down from the top of a boulder at Cape Kiwanda, a dog-friendly beach near the northern Oregon coast. Another photo shows Korgo and his mom enjoying the sights at Lookout Mountain in both Tennessee and Georgia.

While at home, Korgo loves his pool time. A playful sequel to the AHS video shows "terrifying footage at sea," which is basically just Korgo swimming in the red-lit pool with one of his favorite toys in his mouth. It's actually far more hilarious than scary. When his little legs need a break, Korgo can be found taking it easy in his handy dandy doggy stroller. Sounds like a pretty great balance to us.
