Tara M. Clapper is a game designer, editor, and writer with a background in publishing and marketing. She enjoys creating larp (live action role play) experiences, editing work for marketing agencies and independent novelists, and experimenting with immersive, collaborative storytelling techniques. Based in Philadelphia, Tara is the founder and publisher of The Geek Initiative, an online community for women in geek culture. She has attended dozens of conventions and other gaming events throughout North America as a speaker, game designer, or member of the press, and aspires to achieve the rank of Starfleet captain.
