This Lonely Dog Escaped His Yard For The Most Lovely Reason
Messy and Audi are BFFs. Messy is a yellow lab and Audi is a husky. Both dogs live in Thailand and, according to Messy's owner, Oranit Kittragul, Audi gets very lonely while his owners are away at work.
She's enlisted Messy to help comfort his lonely neighbor across the street.
"When [Audi] feels lonely and cries, I always ask my dog to see and talk to him," Oranit told The Dodo. "My dog just looks from my fence and sometimes he barks to [Audi]. I don't know what they are communicating, but he stops crying."
While Messy and Audi's friendship has mostly been long distance, they recently got the chance to hang out in person. When Audi's humans forgot to latch the gate, he got loose and he knew exactly where he wanted to go: To visit his BFF, Messy, of course.

“He ran to my dog and they hugged each other,” Oranit explained. Naturally, she snapped some pictures of their meet-cute, and thank goodness she did.
The pictures are going viral (which is SO not surprising). Messy and Audi are friendship inspo to us all.
