It also has overheat protection and LED and sound alerts, and is made of flame-retardant materials to reduce fire risks. Plus, the raised edge around the platform keeps pets from getting too close to the heat outlet. The metal-wrapped, chew-resistant power cord adds another layer of safety, while non-slip rubber feet help keep the heater grounded. It even includes a HEPA filter to trap fur and dust. I truly feel like homerunPET thought of everything when engineering this space heater.

Operating at less than 40 decibels, this heater creates a gentle humming sound that quickly fades into the background. It also features heating technology that provides efficient, energy-saving warmth for pets and people. The cat bed mode running at a maximum power of 60W will use less than 1 kilowatt-hour of electricity per day. It also took less than 90 seconds for me to feel noticeable warmth in the room and on the platform.

Controlling the heater is simple with either the touch panel or included remote control (battery included). You can easily toggle between two space heater modes (900W and 1500W), activate the fan-only setting, and adjust the platform temperature. Plus, the LED indicators made it easy for me to see the current settings.
