Cavapoo 'Chewed Through The Bathroom Door' To Get To Mom And Has Zero Regrets
Every dog or cat owner has experienced it: an overly curious or anxiety-stricken pet pushing open the bathroom door when you least expect it. But have you ever seen a dog so determined to meet its human during a bathroom break that it tore through half the door and squeezed itself through a surprisingly small hole to be by their side at the toilet? No matter your answer to that question, you've got to check on this totally relatable TikTok video featuring a Velcro dog in the form of a cavapoo.
@glassof.milo Guess who chewed through the bathroom door and won't leave me alone #dog #dogsoftiktok
At the start of the super-short clip, we see the brown cavapoo named Milo down on the floor, squeezing himself through a small hole he made at the bottom of a shredded door. After popping up and dutifully sitting by his human mom's side, you can hear the content creator sigh the word "yeah..." along with the apropos caption, "Guess who chewed through the bathroom door and won't leave me alone."
Based on the unbelievably shredded condition of the door, one viewer jumped in the comments to ask, "I mean how long were you in the bathroom??" as others either commiserate or question why a dog owner would let such a disastrous situation happen. Many people made light of the video, calling the cavapoo the "separation anxiety final boss" and noting how the dog has a completely adorkable smile on his face when his mission was finally accomplished, all but proving it's hard to be angry when they're so darn cute!
What exactly is a cavapoo?
A cavapoo, like the determined door doggy in the TikTok video, is a mix of a Cavalier King Charles spaniel and either a toy or miniature poodle, leading to a small-to-medium-sized animal weighing under 30 pounds. They're often perceived to have a teddy bear-like look to them, due to their sweet, fluffy faces and curly brown, tan, and/or black coats.
Cuddly, cute, and astute, cavapoos — sometimes called a cavoodle — are genuinely considered cheerful dogs who are devoted to their owners/families and love being social and around people. Of course, on the flipside, those characteristics sometimes manifest into signs of separation anxiety when they are left alone, which is most likely what's going on in the TikTok clip.
Considered a designer dog breed, the cavapoo carries a puppy-ish personality with them through much of adulthood, with big, expressive eyes, adorable faces, and a happy-go-lucky gait. But if you're considering one as a pet, be sure you're ready for them to possibly bust through the bathroom door looking for your undivided attention!
