Golden Retriever Who Wiggles With Excitement Is A Pure Ray Of Sunshine

Lots of dogs are ridiculously happy, some just look happier than others, with certain personality types and breeds even appearing as if they're smiling. Golden retrievers are one of those breeds, often showing off their lovable disposition by adorably grinning from ear to ear. A perfect example is this overly excited golden retriever, named Winnie, we found on TikTok, with her smiling face, wiggly tail wag, and sweet vocalization. She's just so happy, she literally cannot contain herself!

The video shows the sunny-yellow goldie wiggling uncontrollably on the edge of a couch, letting out darling little whines as she wags her tail and looks for attention. The sweet pup's owner explains the doggy's adorableness by saying, "she just has big emotionsss," adding that the pooch "screams" when she's happy. "She's a screamer and a shaker," says one viewer, as a couple of others mention that their doggies act the same way. There's absolutely nothing better than a cute, happy pet to make your day!

How to tell your dog is happy

It's pretty easy to tell when your dog is happy, as animals usually wear their hearts on their sleeves. Therefore, a happy dog often shows that it's happy by enthusiastically wagging its tail, opening its mouth as if to smile, and outwardly seeking affection.

Content dogs usually have a relaxed look to them, with soft, gentle eyes and telling facial expressions, including a turned-up mouth, a protruding tongue, and floppy ears. When wagging their tails, they'll often wiggle their hips too, making them seem extra excited. Some dogs even dance, jumping up and down and spinning in circles. A playful bark could also accompany any of these actions.

In general, happy dogs are friendlier and often exhibit good behavior. They usually have a healthy appetite and sleep well, and they definitely enjoy being petted. If your pet does not seem happy, make sure they are eating healthy, getting plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, and give them lots of love and attention. And if they still don't seem happy, it's best to take them to a vet to make sure they aren't sick, as everyone wants a healthy, happy pet!
