Dog Does His Best Spin After Groomer Visit To Show Off New Look To Toddler Sister

People usually feel pretty good after stepping out of the barber shop or hair salon, showing off their impressive new 'do to the world. If this TikTok video is any indication, dogs feel the same way after getting back from the groomer. Just watch this happy pup named Bruce, who shows off his new style to his toddler sister, who ooh's and ahh's from the backseat of the car as the pooch does a little spin.

The content creator mom who filmed the interaction called it her favorite video of all time, dropping crying emojis over the fact that her toddler can be heard asking the doggy to show off his coiffed coat before saying "you're so pretty" and giggling. For his part, the shiny mixed-breed pooch is happy to go straight to the back seat to greet the girl while donning an adorably tied neck bandana.

"He really gave her a spin when she said 'show hair,' this is precious," said one person in the comments, as another gave props to how welcoming the little girl is, saying, "Parents who have so obviously taught their kids to love their pets like this is my favorite thing ever 😩😭." Such a sweet moment caught on video just can't be beat!

Tips for taking your dog to the groomer

Most dogs visit a groomer at one time or another, while some go regularly. If you've never or rarely taken your pup to get groomed, here are a few things you should do to hopefully help make it a stress-free visit to the groomer

First, make sure to choose a reputable groomer that's right for your dog's needs so that you know your precious pup is in good hands. Beyond that, it's highly encouraged to practice some grooming at home, as this helps doggies get acclimated to being brushed and touched in sensitive areas like their paws, ears, and tail until they get used to regularly going to the groomers.

Then, before the actual appointment, make sure to take your dog for a short walk for some exercise and a potty break, and bring any comfort items your canine companion may need, like a favorite blanket or toy. Stay calm and keep the drop off brief; although definitely let the groomer know if you have any concerns or areas that you think need extra attention. Finally, make sure to heap love and affection, and maybe even a treat, upon your pup when picking up, as they thrive on positive reinforcement. In the end, hopefully your pup walks out feeling as happy and as confident as anyone else who steps out of a salon!
