Mini Goldendoodle Isn't Afraid To Express How She Feels About The Rainy Weather

Some people love the rain, some don't. It's the same with dogs. Some are willing to don their yellow raincoats, like this adorable rain-loving golden retriever, and some...well, they refuse to even step foot outside when the weather conditions aren't right. Like this mini goldendoodle named Luna on TikTok, who can't contain her distaste for the wet weather just outside her door.

In this totally relatable video simply titled "Luna vs. rain," the mini-doodle is not happy about all the little drops coming down, and she isn't afraid to express her feelings. She is seen pacing back and forth on the covered patio, popping her head out just long enough to bark, huff, and puff at the unwanted precipitation. "I do not blame her for barking at the weather!" one commenter chimed in, and all we keep thinking is, "Tell that weather what you really think, Luna!" Because somebody's got to, right?

What if my dog won't go outside in the rain?

Dogs are like people; they have their own thoughts and opinions, likes and dislikes. When it comes to going out for walks in wet weather, they'll definitely let you know what they're thinking. Some like putting on gear, like these two raincoat-wearing golden retriever-German shepherd mixes, and some will reluctantly go outside and then give you the cold shoulder when they get wet, like this totally over it pug that got soaked. Then, of course, there are the ones like Luna, who just plain hate the whole situation. If that's the case, what's a dog owner to do?

Assuming you've already tried some doggy rain gear to no avail, the other main things to try are rewards-based coaxing that works just enough to take your pooch out for a quick walk or finding them a dry, covered spot attached to your dwelling where they'll quickly do their business in an emergency. It often helps to go out with them instead of just expecting them to brave the elements on their own. Most of all, avoid punishments, relying instead on positive reinforcement. Then, make sure they get dried off once they come back inside. With dogs like these, patience is crucial, and all you really need to do is get them outside long enough to get the job done!
